Okinawan Rainbows

Hello, friends!

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of laying over in Okinawa once again! This time, however, we were located in a new part of the island with this incredible view outside my window! One morning I woke up early and got to witness this beautiful double rainbow over the urban jungle so I chased it down to the pool as it started fading away.

Right next door to the hotel was a huge market that I wandered around (literally) all day in. It was perfect protection from the unending rain that was occurring. I would have taken more photos but I was mesmerized with the tiny shops that had $5 pants and knickknacks. Plus, I don’t often like putting my camera in people’s faces as I walk around. Sometimes, you just need to step back and enjoy.

exportAlright, that’s all for now, friends! I just wanted to share with you the incredible rainbow over Okinawa’s city that I witnessed recently. This whole day was just one of those really great days that I can’t exactly put into words or even photographs, but I hope you catch the beauty and serenity that I am trying to throw out.

Until next time,

Mary A.

1. Great post. Love ❤️ Japan 🇯🇵. I’d love sharing options for WordPress or other sites at the bottom. WordPress has the option if you were unaware 😉
