I spy with my little eye... #iceland #travel

Would you believe that I’m still trying to figure out the right words for Iceland? Every time I start to think about this magical time it goes in multiple directions. Sometimes I’m stunned, lost for words, to describe what we saw. Other times I simply can’t pick One sight to attempt to describe. And then, there are other times, such as this time, when I am completely, whole-heartedly certain of what I want to say about my time in Iceland. And it is this: I am so gushingly, openly, utterly in love with this man. This guy that made up endless dramatic songs with me during the drive and that screamed out windows through mountain roads with me because- God Dammit- we were so happy to be alive. This guy that every day, no matter the distance, makes me believe in myself more, makes me stronger, makes me a better human being. I can’t picture a better road trip partner. Iceland was everything plus more that I imagined because of you. So yeah, I’m still trying to figure out the rest of the words on this memorable trip. Will report back soon.

Experienced every type of weather in Iceland, including a storm that almost killed us (but you’ll have to wait to read about that on my blog) but definitely missing this particular golden hour in the Golden Circle. #iceland #travel
